APRIL 25 | Mallorca 312 (Cycling)
Location: Platja de Muro & The Tramuntana
The Event: 8,000 riders tackle the island’s closed roads. The race village at Platja de Muro is the place to be for the post-race atmosphere.
The Region: The north coast becomes a global cycling hub, offering a mix of flat coastal routes and the challenging mountain hairpins of the UNESCO-protected range.
MAY 4–9 | 52 Super Series (Sailing)
Location: Puerto Portals
The Event: Known as the “Formula 1 of sailing,” these high-performance monohulls return to the Bay of Palma.
The Venue: Puerto Portals is more than a marina; it’s a lifestyle benchmark. Beyond the regattas, its municipal sailing school offers high-end summer programs for kayaking, paddle surfing, and dinghy racing.
JUNE 13–14 | Balearic Absolute Championship (Golf)
Location: T-Golf Palma Puntiró
The Event: The federation’s premier open tournament, showcasing the island’s top talent.
The Venue: T-Golf Palma Puntiró has been restored to its original Jack Nicklaus design. It features the world-renowned “Piranya” grass on its greens and a clubhouse that feels like a boutique lounge, devoid of surrounding buildings for a pure nature experience.
JUNE 20–27 | Mallorca Championships (Tennis)
Location: Mallorca Country Club, Santa Ponça
The Event: The ATP 250 grass-court highlight and a key Wimbledon warm-up.
The Venue: Mallorca Country Club is the only venue in Europe with all three Grand Slam surfaces (Grass, Clay, Hard). Even when a tournament isn’t on, members flock here for the rooftop gym, physio clinic, and the social “see and be seen” poolside lounge.
AUGUST 1–8 | 44th Copa del Rey MAPFRE (Sailing)
Location: Real Club Náutico de Palma (RCNP)
The Event: The Mediterranean’s most prestigious regatta, famously attended by the Spanish Royal Family.
The Venue: Real Club Náutico is the historic heart of Palma’s social elite. The facilities are second to none, featuring an indoor/outdoor pool, a private library, and two of the city’s most exclusive waterfront bars.

These venues might not have a trophy on the line this week, but they are the island’s premier spots for daily play:
- Arabella Golf (Son Vida): A massive 63-hole destination. Son Vida (the island’s oldest) offers history, Son Muntaner offers tournament-level challenge, and Son Quint provides the best views of Palma’s Cathedral.
